Dealers and Discounts? Now that IS an oxymoron! I dropped $30K at the local dealer for my new StreetGlide. I asked about HOG discounts on future purchases.
The sales rep said "Say what?"

Discount from a dealer, you guys are pulling my leg right. I get jack and **** at my dealer. Rode up to a dealer in the Denver metro area and they have points cards. Basically you get 10% back. Only discount I get is on HOG night and thats a whopping 15%.

Did you know that upon purchase of a new Harley-Davidson you get 15% off harley stuff AND Kuryakyn and whatever else the dealer sells for the duration of your discount card? Even after market parts that are ordered. Well, I did not till yesterday. Just thought I would post that, might save the next guy a few coins. You think they would say something after a while. I've been there so many times they all know me by my first name. I guess I fall in the "who's the dumb one" category. Next thing you know they'll be offering me anti-freeze and blinker fluid! and for full price too!
