I'm thinking of getting a luggage rack for my 09 Street Glide. HD doesn't seem to have many options for the newer/wider frame and quick release mounts. Looking for some suggestions.
I don't normally ride even with the backrests on unless my wife is with me. I like the clean look of the bike without it. Something simple to snap on/off would be great.

I too am looking at luggage racks for my x, the one I am leaning towards is the stealth. They do make a detachable stealth rack. Check out this link.
I went with the Airwing Detachable Luggage Rack (pn: 54283-09, $229.95) with the optional LED light kit (pn: 68065-10, $54.95). Looks good, is detachable, and adds an additional run/brake light.
