Picked up my new ride on Friday. Quite happy at the moment. I do have two questions though and I have been perusing the threads.
1. Exhaust, I don't want to do fuel management at this time. Am debating between the Jackpots and the Rush slipons. I haven't see alot of talk about the Rush. Anyone with rush on there touring? I am not looking for super loud, deep throaty rumble and calm at cruising.
2. Who is using the XEID's on there touring? Yay or Nay?
Don't have them, and if I fail at trying to modifify the hell out of what I already like very much !...... I would go with Jackpot's, they are more than just a muffler company, they do it all !
Call Jamie at Fuelmoto, You could probably add the Jackpots only (meaning don't stage 1 the air cleaner) and not need additional fuel mapping. He would be your best bet for a solid answer to your question. Good luck and welcome to the forum. Awesome bike by the way!
Congrats for your new ride. I like the looks and tone of the 4" Screamin' Eagles I put on my '09. I just wish they were a little louder. They seem to get a little louder with more miles. I've got a set of slash-cut tips on the way.

I'm not personally familiar with the Rush slip-on's but many folks on the forum seem to like them. I've got the Jackpots w/quiet baffle. I think you'd find the Jackpots, with or without the quiet baffle will fit the specs you mention.

A friend of mine has them on his 08 Street Glide. He's happy with the change in the engine. He says performance is up slightly but mainly it runs smoother because it's not so lean anymore. He also noted a slight decrease in economy too but is happy with the trade off. If you think you'll be adding something like a SERT or PCV down the road, I'm not sure I'd spend the money on the XIED's, but if this is as far as you intend to go, they might be a reasonable option as they're relatively inexpensive.
Good luck with whatever you decide & Ride Safe,
Steve R.
Very pretty color combination. Congratulations. I would probably go with Jackpots, that way when you decide to go a/c and PCV you have a good starting combination. My bet is that within 30 days you change your mind. Those cats in the headpipes are extremely HOT! Been there, done that, experianced it first hand.
