Default Road Zeppelin Question

I installed the RZ tonight. Didn't get a chance to ride it but, shouldn't I hear the bladders inflating or at least feel it?

I would think so otherwise you just have an expensive regular seat. Now I don't have a RZ but does it get a 12v power source from something? If so, have you checked that it's getting power?

As soon as I turned on the bike the seat started to inflate. I have the seat for the 07 fltr.

If your RZ is one of the new ones "08 or later it has to be plugged into the accessories and the accessories have to be turned. As well bike has to have ignition in either "on" or "accessories" position. If sitting on the seat and engine off you will feel the badders inflate or deflate depending on how you push the switches on the left side. You will also hear compressor if inflating and air if deflating. 2 bladders in riders seat & 1 bladder in passenger seat. If engine is running you can't hear but you can feel bladders inflate & deflate.

I guess it just don't work. Plugged in correct to accessory plug and confirmed there's juice running to it. No compressor sound when pushing buttons. Back to dealer it goes.

Yep take it back. I have one and I personally love it, however my wife doesn't. She comlains it is to bouncey when aired up, and sucks when aired down. I love it because I can adjust the air and it forces my pelvic/hips to change seating position. When I come to a situation where I have to stop a lot, I air it down because of reach.

I have considered selling. Mine works.

Word of caution. I posted this on another RZ thread. The new RZ seats will rub the frame slightly where the sit on the frame just below the driver on both sides. It will put rub holes in the seat. I glued some black carpet on mine to stop it from doing anymore damage.
