Default Need help quick on RK vs RKC seat
Can anyone tell me if a Sundowner seat, part 51615-99C which HD site says is a Road King Classic will fit on a comparable year Road King? My RK is an 01.

I'm sure it will work. All of the dressers are the same frame, so as long as it's for the same year, it should work fine.
I would say it says RKC because of styling features.

A RKC seat is wider than the RK seat and will rub your saddlebag lids when opening. At least this is the case with 2009 - might be different on an older bike.

it may also have something to do with the length of the tank console. just a thought.
