I have a Mustang solo on my RKC and am probably going to sell it, along with the back rest and Motherwell rack.
I does move you forward about a bit, but what I don't like is the front edges of it ride somewhat higher than my stocker, and at stops it presses uncomfortable against my inner thighs.
I suppose it's really best for folks with longer legs.
Once ridding .... it's very comfortable and roomy. I just don't like the feeling that I'm sitting on a tractor at stops, so it's gonna go to the classifieds for $500 complete.
Almost new, with the chrome with black center studs for anyone looking .........

Cool

Call Mustang directly. They are very helpful in telling you exactly the difference between their model which interests you, and your HD stock seat. By the way, my Mustang solo moves me down one inch and back one and a half inches....compared to the original stock seat on the 09 Ultra.

I put the one piece touring seat on my 09 Ultra and it was a big improvement over stock, for distance. It seems to set close to what the stock seat is like but a very small amount lower. The wife was fine with the stock or Mustang seat but she hardly rode on the back as she was on her own bike. I actually have mine for sale for $300. inc. shipping, I traded bikes and don't need it. The seat has less than 1000 miles on it.

On another note is VW close to opening in TN?

I had a Mustang solo. It sits a little lower, and about the same distance from the tank as stock. I need a little more room, so I sold it and bought a Corbin, which sits lower and further back.

I just put the Mustang Touring Seat (76033) on my '09 Street Glide. The wife and I just couldn't take the stripped down seat any longer. The Mustang sits about the same hight and it sits just a bit closer to the tank. The rear seat is taller and my wife has short legs so we had to move the passenger pegs up one notch.
With the stock seat, the bucket was deep - I was able to slide front to back and left to right but with the Mustang I sit into it and I don't slide around at all.
I have about 400 miles so far on the Mustang and I give it a 9 out of 10 so far.....

I just purchased a Mustang Super Touring seat for my Ultra Classic. I don't have many miles on it yet but so far I love it. I felt that the stock seat, besides being very uncomfortable, had me sitting too close to the tank. The Super Touring seat sets you back an inch or so and perhaps slightly lower compaired to the stock seat. (If it matters, I am 5'10" with a 30" inseam)

The better made seat combined with a tour pack relocater made my wife a lot happier as well!

I have the solo and passenger pillion arrangement on my RK, the seat sits just a bit lower than stock but put me forward just at a inch giving me the feeling I am sitting taller, the pillion is 13 1/2" wide and cushy for the missus and we have no issues with long days in the saddle for it.

I bought a C&C and it set me down a good inch to the stock or the Mustang but the wife would not tolerate the stiffer foam support to get to the break in miles, I really liked that seat but it sits on the shelf.

Our both Ultras have Mustang, it lowers you a bit but depends on year model. Of course these are more comfortable then stock but you will still experience some discomfort on day long trips. I use HD circulator cushion on top of my seat but I still can't stay still on long trips . So I'm still looking for a perfect and some what normal looking seat .

I am looking at getting a new seat for my 02 Ultra. I like the support that the stock seat gives to my lower back. I just installed the detachable set up for the tour pack and would love a two piece seat. Does the two piece give the smae support that stock set up gives?? Thanks.

Leadman, Cherokee Cycles up at Andrews NC is a Mustang Dealer. They will put the seat on your bike and let you try it. I bought my wifes Mustang seat for her 2010 SG Trike there. Nice people to do business with.
