Default Front fork air line problem

Hello, I have a 99 ultra classic. i recently somehow blew a airline to my front fork, thusly pumping out fork oil. I need to put line back in banjo fitting after refilling the forks but cant figure out how to keep the line in the little red cap. any help would be appreciated. I have already tried puching the red tab in and inserting the line but it wont stay.

Thanks in advance.

that's the model that uses the crash bar as an air reservoir i'm guessing? a 99 isn't that old. what does your service manual say about it? if nothing else stop by the dealer, they're sure to have had some experience with it. if it's like the rear air shocks on the newer models, it's easy. by the way, welcome to the forum.
