got back yesterday from our trip to Maine via Niagara Falls, Lake Placid and finally Rockland Maine. Great trip, our first to the East. The roads were way better than the corn field roads here in Illinois. The 8 dollar lobster didn't hurt either. Had a little heat with a little water but the flhx road great, no problems at all. Soos was right , a lot of fishing villages on the coast. Now the planning starts for next year. later.

Glad you had a great trip through Maine! I am originally from there...a little north of Rockland near Belfast. The quaint little Lobstering villages are scenic, friendly, and yes...the "Lubstah shore ah cheap up they'uh, uh yuh"!
We did a trip up to NH, Maine, Vermont, and Cape Cod last year during Laconia and wow what a great time. Had lot's of lobsta rolls and di some of the best riding ever up in those great state's. Couldn't ride back in flat and hot Florida for 2 months when we got back (depressed).
Always glad to hear of from fellow bikers enjoying our beautiful piece of real estate. We have lived here all our lives and often get the feeling we are living in a giant plant pot with all the beautiful foliage. The four seasons are just right for a lot of reasons.Any of you spot a black RK probably going too fast, with a mostly smiling white hair,it could be me.
