Just wanted vent and warn people of this windscreen. I have had the windsplitter (57166-10 Road Glide) on my bike for 94 days (90 day warranty), had no problems until about 2 weeks ago when I was caught in a storm (windy and rain), I'm very picky with the appearance of my bike so the next day I went to wash it and noticed that around 2 of the screws the windscreen had cracked, and shattered around one of them 2 screws. It appears to me the design of the windscreen applies more pressure to that area causing the windscreen to crack. Before anyone says screws were to tight, I tightened to spec and also rode with this W/S for quite some time before the storm so over tightening should not have been the issue.
H-D service hotline "they're not indestructible" is the only thing they had to say.
Neither is my wallet, $160 for a windscreen that lasts 94 days.
could have been one bad W/S or a bad design, not sure but wanted all to know before spending $160 of your hard earned money on this W/S
