What are the rest of you touring folks using for waterproof gloves?
I have tried 3-4 different pairs of so-called "waterproof" gloves, they range from not at all to marginal in the waterproof department. I don't feel like plopping down any more hard earned dough on under-performing gloves. Would prefer not to break the bank, but willing to pay for quality.
I just ordered a pair of gauntlets from www.cruiserworks.com . If they are any where close to how waterproof their boots are, I'll be happy. $56 + $2 shipping.
I've had quite a few gloves that claimed to be waterproof but weren't, and short of the gloves TickTock is selling I know of none. Hey TT, how much for a pair of those in pink?
When cold and wet I use a light or medium glove with a pair of old HD "mittens," which cover the gloves and are waterproof. They don't make these anymore and don't know where you'd find anything similar.
Laugh if you want but that's what is in the pocket of my rain gear. ( Oh, and don't tell my wife she's missing a pair. ) Nothing grips better when it's wet.
