I had (still have) an old expandable T-Bag and it worked great and never had any problems with the straps or any wearing of the heavy fabric. It did fade after about 10-12 years but not enough to embarrass me (but what would other than dropping my bike in front of a crowd).
I now have the HD #94734-09 luggage made by SAC and it seems of the same high quality but will probably also fade over time. I think any black fabric will eventually fade after being in direct sun light over a long period of time. Actually leather will also.
I only switched from T-Bag to HD because I changed bikes and my T-Bag did not fit over the RK backrest and the HD was cheaper from Zanotti HD.
I can tell what not to get, those $89 expandable packs that come with a top roll bag and rain cover. I have seen them on tons of different sites. The straps and zipper quality is horrible.
I have the Nelson Riggs GWR-1000 on my Ultra. I have used it a few times and happy with it. Paid $100 at rally in Galveston TX. Fits great on luggage rack and it is easy to mount. It comes with a rain cover.

Hey Hoe........(I couldn't resist)
Are you going to be mounting the luggage on a sissy bar/luggage rack setup?
If so , the Stowaway looks like a very nice setup.
I have a Tbag horseshoe bag for my tourpack large luggage rack , it's a real slick design and doesn't grab too much wind from the side like most.
My local dealer says that Tbags will warrantee nearly any problem without question as long as there is no sign of mold or mildew on the product.
I would be a little careful with the zippers , but otherwise I'd buy Tbag products without question again.
Good luck choosing a bag , there's some really nice luggage out there for riders nowadays.

T-Bags Roller Dekker. I found it on 'clearance' on t-bags web site and paid about $130.00 for it. Great bag and seems to hold enough for myself and the better half.
Another +++ for the Dakota bag. Haven't got it yet but been researching for last week and ordered it last night. Usually $240 at most places, but found it here for $218 w/ free shipping.
