Default Automatic Bike Wash

Picked up my Ultra today after the dealership put the new Dunlop 408 front tire on. They ran my bike through their automatic bike washer. I've seen it there since they put it in last fall but didn't really think it would work that well. I've totally changed my mind after picking my bike up today. It works REALLY well. Chrome was all nice and shiny, the dash and gauge lenses looked great and hardly any water spots on it at all. Every once in a while, my dealership gives free bike washes and from now on I'm going to take them up on it. Last time I washed and waxed my bike it took almost 3 hours. I might just have to turn lazy and let their machine do my work for me. Anyone else have one of these automatic bike washers at their dealership or in their town ?

I saw one on American Chopper one time but never thought they would actually be out there in the real world. Kinda neat. I think I'll pass on the auto wash myself.

The only way i would use it is if they had "Hot" Gals wiping it down and gave a great "Blow" Dry!!....

Hell ...... I'd settle for quasi-ugly if the blow dry was truly great ......

I just don't know if I trust the automatic washers to do a good job. Plus, their absolutely no fun to watch.

Dang, Clint! What dealership is that?!

OP, I thought about installing one of those at one time but with the economy in the crapper, I didn't think about it very long.

There's one here in Indy just down the street from the Indy Motor Speedway. I rode over there last week to give it a try, and it was out of order. Been working 7 days a week, so not much time to rub on the bike. Thought if the auto wash worked, it'd save me some time. That's what I get for thinking....

I myself just can't stand the thought of a High Pressure Wash going over my bike....
My old ride never even had a water hose put to it.
