Default Need more rise

I am currently running Sweepers +2 (300515) on my 09 FLHT and while the pull-back is not bad they are a bit low and I would like more rise. I looked at Wild 1's 575 but they appear to be almost identical to the Sweepers so it seems like a waste of money to switch them out. The only other bars I have been finding are apes (Cyclesmith, Wild 1's 577) which will all put my hands above the top of the fairing which I do not want.

So my question is: does anyone know of a bar that will give me more rise than my Sweepers +2, and still offer close to the same pullback and still keep my hands behind the fairing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if the hands will still be behind the fairing though. I am thinking of trying the 12" out. I wan't my hands to stay behind the fairing also. I think 10" if they offered it would probably do the trick, but most folks go for the 12" so they probably said the heck with it.

These actually might work... do you know any additional info like pullback, grip width, etc. I checked the website and did not see any of that info, nor where to purchase them. Are they available for sale yet?

I just PM'd you about the bars. I'm thinking on trying them too in place of my sweepers.

I spent a lot of time looking for something similar, and eventually went with Horizon bars from www.helibars.com Bars are different looking (in a good way I think), but most importantly they're adjustable. I think out of the box they're about 4" higher than stock (which puts my hands just below top of the fairing, although I do now feel wind on them). I also have the bars set up for more pullback, but it shouldn't be a problem to dial in less. I posted some detailed pics in another thread.

I've been really happy with these bars - they solved pretty much all of my complaints with the stockers.

Default BUmp

Bump for input. Does anyone know if there is an 11" mini ape available. As I have been looking at handlebars it appears that the reason that apes get so much more rise is that they are bent up, while a bar like wo575 is straight and loses some of its rise to having to be pulled back because of the fairing. I need an ape style bar (bent up) that is 10-11" tall so that it won't go over the fairing.
