A new vivid black is 19499 plus 380 for freight. 19879.00 + 1540.00 tax = 21419 plus title. So for 1500.00 or so more you can have a brand new one. With a 103 motor standard i might add...
If it is a 2009, the minute you ride it off the floor you now have a 2 year old used bike. I would offer what retail used is off of www.nada.com or www.kbb.com

OTD for a brand new 2010 Vivid Black Road King Classic at my favorite dealer is $17,700.00 today. It has a set of Rush slip-ons on it. Of course that's for someone living in Oklahoma. That would be worth someone coming after if they lived closely enough.

Two years ago next month I paid 19500 with extras for a two-tone...Look it up under a used bike and add a couple hundred miles to it. See what you get???
I happened to have an 09 Vivid Black RKC that I bought off the showroom floor bone stock....18,500 out the door in 09. In other words they're trying to bend you over for that price.
NMRoadKing09 got bent over too (just ribbing)! I got the exact same bike for $16,700 eight months ago, during a snow storm, lol. It had 8 miles on it. Even got them to throw in a couple of goodies, and 1K service as well. (Of course I had to wait to even test it out. But no problems when I picked it up). Oh, and there is no sales tax here.
Got mine 09 RKC in 09 with wheel upgrade , security , abs , tax ,title DMV, OTD for $19700. With the '11 out they can do better. TickTock is right for a few more bucks you can get the latest & greatest.
