Well since I added my B&E Mufflers and a Arlen Ness Big Sucker air filter I also had the shop re-map my 07 RG. I explained to them that by my spark plugs it looked LEAN. They said Harley runs them pretty lean right from the factory. Seems like my bike (with the remap) is running a little ritcher now. I can smell a little exhaust when I fire it up where as before I could not. Will be checking plugs tonight to compare before/after remap color of plugs.
This bike shop I found IS a Harley dealer and they have another non american shop and is a LARGE dealer in both. They have already put Rinehart full duals on 07 bikes. Minor modifications but they fit, look and run great. You have to buy a fuel pack and have them Dyno it.
Just wondering, can you tell a difference in how hot the bike is running? The right side of the engine on mine runs REALLY hot and was think (hoping) that doing something like this would help with that.
Well I had a HD shop about 40 miles down the interstate do the work. Chip's HD in Osceola Iowa. C&C Cycle out of Chariton Iowa ownes them. Much smaller town, charges about $48 an hour labor compared to almost double that in the big city. I road the bike home and parked it. Seems to run a little cooler, little more get up, and you can hear that Big Sucker air breather suck in the air when you jump on the throttle.
