This just happened yesterday, and I have contacted the dealer (will remain unnamed as long as I am taken care of, as he promised) where I bought the mufflers. I agree, at the price, this should have never happened, and as for my dyno, the AFR line is as flat as it could possibly be at with a straight downward line from 14 at 1750 RPM to 12 at 6300.
I have never had any quality i.e. V&H, and Rinehart, ever change color, even after two dyno tunes on both. Needless to say, I am pretty sick about this, and hope that the problem will be fixed as promised. Sometime you just have to have a little faith.

I have cfr's for about 2k miles and no problems... I have power duals and pc5 with map from eastern performance!!! Hope not to have to go thru this ****!!!! Like others have said its a lot of $$$$ for something like this to happen if it's not ur fault should b taken care of!!!
well unless cfr make good on yours we won't be using them!!! and we will also spread the word very fast for others to stay away also. DO THE RIGHT THING CFR!!!!!!!
What web site ???????? Great index page !!!!! Am I missing something ??????
As far as the mufflers turning color, every manufacturer blames the tune. Just because the product is made from material that is too thin and gets too hot causing the problem does not mean anything. Amazing how long it takes for a set of factory mufflers to turn color particularly when everyone cries how lean the tune is from the factory. At $600 for a set of mufflers you should be getting more than what you get.
You realize that your replying to a post from CFR that is from 2010? Website may have worked then.
This guys pipes didn't change color until he got it tuned, so I'd half to lean (pun intended) towards the tune causing his issues. I do hope he gets some new pipes for his troubles.
