Anyone know if there are problems with LR Shields. I want to order a shield and have sent them two e-mails, one through this forum and one through their web page. I have had no response.
They didn't answer my email, either, but they did answer the phone. Got my new X-Stream in 4 days, but sent it back Monday to exchange for their Ultra shield. Too much buffeting on the X-Stream, but I have to say the windshield was excellent quality.
I ordered a 7" Black Xtream online, got it in 4 days. Installed it in minutes. (I never sent them an email so I cannot comment on their reply promptness)
I am not 100% sold on it yet. I've had it for a month and have done about 600 miles with it. It is better than the 4" original on my SG.
It does feel at times in strong winds that I can actually feel the front end being pushed down. I still get wind, however it is in a different and higher location than before. Also if you have windshield bags be careful they will not fit after you change. The regular Harley 2 and 3 bag sets are a definite no fit. I am looking into a single and seeing how I can modify or make a bracket to get it to fit. I think Long Shields should add that as an accessory.
Maybe I should send them an email ? ............................ ;-)

If you look in their description they state WS bags work w 8" and over. I'm 5'8" w Solo seat and like the 8" which is really only 7" fr. the top of the fairing in the back because of the slope. I really like the stability it gives the bike.

No problems here, they answer the phone every time!
I ordered a 7" Ultra from them and received it within days. With the ultra flip, it performs better than the 10" HD shield I originally had on my Street Glide.
Ordered the 9" light gray Ultra for my '10 Ultra Classic. I've never been able to stand looking thru windshields. Just got an email from them and it's "in the mail".
I received my 9" Ultra Flip with a medium tint exactly to weeks ago and I'm happy with it. I went with the 9" for my passengers comfort she rides with me 85+% of the time and when she is happy life is good
