I got the dashpad with the gps mount but it did not come with the templates or the screws and washers for mounting the dashpad to the fairing. I guess I can figure out where to drill the holes without the template. Can anyone tell me what size the screws should be?
If you mean the leather/vinyl one above the gauges, you need a template..They are tiny triangle shaped pieces of paper. Are you sure they aren't in there?
The holes are 7/16 I believe. Yes, 7/16. The large round peg with the threads is what goes through the hole.
Take back the pad and get the tweeter pod from hogtunes gives the stereo a big kick. Nit sure about the size but the triangle came with the tweeter pod. Can drop it in the mail for you if your in the lower 50. I think it should be about the same. I think I still have it not positive. Let me know
I like the tweeter pods, but I went with the CVO dashpad because I wanted to get the gps off the handle bars (didn't like the wires showing). Anyhow I ordered the parts based on the numbers from another post, but it did not say what screws were needed for the pad. I can figure out the size and thread count easy enough, but not sure on the length. Trial and error will work if nothing else.
Born2Cure, if you could send those templates to me or scan them and email them with the measurement of one of the lines I could cut them out and use them, it would be fantastic. PM sent.
