I had a chance to ride with an old friend today, and put in about 300 miles across the Cascade mountains and back. With a fairing and lowers, the bike is a comfy cruiser, and it's easy to ride 5 or 6 hours without needing a lengthy break.
I got back home this afternoon, washed the bugs off and thought it would be nice to have it stripped down for a bit. It takes about 10 minutes, which includes putting my tools away when I'm done.
Looks like a cover over the bags, really changes the look. Nice. What are they?
I'm partial to fairings, and think your ride is excellent either way.
Thanks. The saddlebags in the second picture are the leather covered bags that come standard on the RK Classic. I like the way they look with a windshield, but with the fairing, I prefer the color matched hard bags.
Pretty dammed cool dude, I like the lowers as well, they are also quick off? Being able to have a RKC a RK and a Ultra all in one bike is pretty handy, I use mine with and without the fairing or the tour pak but always have the hard bags.
