Is there any way I can tell wich map is in the stock ECM without any special tools?
Bike is @ dealer ,it runs lean and back fires just want to make sure they don't blow me smoke

 

Unless you have a digitech, you are going to have to take the dealers word for it. If it is a stock bike, it more than likely has the stock ECM map. If you don't trust the dealer, take it to another dealer, or independent shop and have them plug in and read the ECM. If it's lean and backfires, you may want to install a DFO or PCIII. I'm not a fan of installing a bandaid on the bikes stock computer and would recommend having the appropriate download installed or purchasing a SE race tuner and install the appropriate map yourself. The nice thing about the race tuner is you can adjust to any mods done to the bike.
