So you have a bike that you are pretty happy with, but the decal on the Ignition switch is either worn out or missing. Small? Yes. Picky? Yes. A little ****? Perhaps....but it's bugging me. I haven't found anything out there aside from replacing the entire switch, plus I wouldn't mind changing it up a little. Any one else find something that I missed or have any ideas?
i can see another problem if you replace the ignition switch. your bags would not be using the same key. surely you should be able to get just the removable part that your ignition key goes into. you know, the one that if you remove it, the shaft, it can be a bugger to reinstall if you aren't familar with how to re-stab it. dawg would surely know if it's available. the guys at the harley parts counter might be able to find it for you too. just a thought anyway. i know what you mean about keeping everything tight, right, and pristine.

You can order a new ignition switch with the original key code.
Don't know if it would fit your switch, but since 03 the switches have separate replaceable decals, pn#71662-03A. If you're close to Devil Mtn HD in Pittsburg, they have one so go look at it and see if it fits.
