Harleys new tour pack teather

I would be afraid of the spring breaking inside, and now the cable is stuck out again.
I've heard of people's stock cables snapping, and yes the lid snaps off and goes to the ground. I never open mine and fling it open, I always make sure the lid is secure before letting go of it.
$30 it looks like a great idea, just hope it's made well..........on my short list of accessories to buy.

Just put one on mine! Great and easy to install. Now I do not have to keep trying to get the cord stuffed back into the box. Tough to do when the tour pack is loaded! Well worth the 29.95. A lot of dealer do not have them yet. Rider friend wanted one and had to go to three dealers to find another one.

For those of you that have a problem with the stock tether wanting to escape every time you close the lid here is a little tip. Unscrew the tether at the lid, flip the head around and reattach. Now it will want to flop in instead of out.
