I just purchased a new bike yesterday. I traded my 1993 90th anniversary wide glide in for a a 2008 ultra classic 105 anniversary. it has all the option as well, security system, ABS brakes etc. It also has Reinhardt exhaust and the harley centerstand already mounted by the original owner. it has 8 k on it so its not to bad. I got it for 12 with my old bike as a trade. Now I just need to figure out all the gadgets. it rides real nice and the wife is very happy now. She felt a lot of bumps on the back of my wide glide. I will miss it though. Any one have any suggestions on this bike? I want to install the luggage rack but im not sure how to drill through the paint without damaging it . thanks jeff
Congrats on the new to you scoot.
A new luggage rack will come with a template and directions. Whether new or used,
Place masking tape on area to be drilled, set rack on the tape, trace around the mounting standoffs, remove rack, I drill a 1/8" dia. pilot hole in the center of your circled markings, then come back with appropriate sized bit for final drilling.
