Default What wheels do you recommend?

I would like to "upgrade" the wheels on the King in the near future. I would like to go with 21x3.5 and a 17 or 18 on the back.

If I go with a 17 on the back, how hard is it to find tires?
What width rim/tire is acceptable on the back of a '10 Road King? I want the ride to be as good as it can be, of course. It is a cruiser, not a hopper.

I want either 5 or 7 spoke chrome, any recommendations? I know I will be spending $2500 to $3000 so I need to do my homework.

I will probably do a package if there is savings from doing so. (wheels, tires, front rotors) Non-ABS

And I am not asking if I should do this, the decision is a fait accompli.

Thanks for any and all responses, this forum is GREAT!

There's something about a RK classic that I just like. Your bike looks great as is. I would just remove the windshield and add some beach bars and your set.

If you really want rims, I would do some fat spokes, maybe black spokes with chrome nipples and a chrome rim. Oh ya, don't forget the whitewalls.
