AS it turns out, I will probably be looking for a passenger backrest for my 08 RG. I do NOT like the look of Harley's almost vertical uprights. Are there any other options out there ? I would like a backrest that has a slight angle to the uprights.

Kuryakyn has a set up, but I have never seen it in person or in aphoto mounted on the bike.

Does anyone know of any aftermarket setups out there.

Whatever it is make sure it is adjustable. I have the HD adjustable one and it is not going to win a beauty contest, but I really like that I can move it while riding. If you have added gear or a bigger passenger you can easily make adjustments for comfort. This makes my list as a must have upgrade and will pay for itself with more miles ridden and less money spent on medication for backaches.
