However, my wife really likes riding with me and had gotten use to the Mustang Touring Pillion seat I had put on the Heritage. She got on the Street Glide and immediately said she felt like she was going to fall off the back and didn't feel comfortable with the pegs where they were... I had planned on getting a King Tour Pack with the backrest later this year with the backrest (just wasn't doing it right now after getting the bike) and thought this might help..

What's everybody else doing for two up on a Street Glide? 2011 seat feels pretty good from a rider perspective, but I want her to be comfortable and also confident she won't go flying when I mash down on the throttle..

Thanks
On my 09 I used a take off Ultra Classic seat I bought here on the forum for $100.00. I also use a passenger backrest so she stays put......

The most comfortable street glide I have ever sat on belongs to a friend of mine's who has a Sundowner seat that was worked over by Mean City Cycles with their memory foam on top of gel inserts.

I would also recommend the 4 point docking hardware, detachable sissy bar and pad, and some floor boards for the OL. You can later still get the Tour Pack.

I got the Sundowner and the detach regular height backrest... wife is much happier.

2 other points...
1. the peg mounting point can be moved up or down..there are holes on the frame..it's not a wide range in height, but i might help a little..whether she is taller or shorter
2. make sure you adjust your air pressure in the rear shocks when you ride with a passenger.

I'm in almost the same situation. I came from a Fatboy with a big'ol mustang seat, to a Street Glide with stock seat. Wife hates it compared to the Mustang, but I hated the Mustang. I'm a tight wad, so I basically am making her deal with the slim stock seat for local rides, but I'll be picking up a Sundowner seat from HD for longer rides. Those are cheap too. I'll just remove the We have a detachable sissy bar already.

She needs to clamp her arms around you tighter! Then she will feel more secure in the relationship...oh...and won't be so apt to fall off the rear either!

Just sayin...

no really I have a mustang sport touring seat it looks good and the few time my wife has been on it she said it was ok. But she does ride her own bike. I now just use it when we travel to set the tee bag on.
