Put the bike all toghter lastnight, starter inner and outer primary and all. And installed Straight pipes slipons.... Its loud, almost too loud. Girlfriend says its fine. Im on the fence. Do I run it down for a rejet and try them out, or do I put the old supertraps back on? If Im gonna rejet I have to be there in 1 hour...
Not sure what you are after, but loud straight pipes may be fine when sitting around or short runs, but what is the girlfriend going to think after listening to them after an hour or so. Plus the straights are not allowing the power potential of your bike. I may be missing something....straight pipe slipons... are they slipon mufflers or are they straights without baffles. If no baffles for back pressure you are going to lose low to mid power.
As far as rejet....are you taking it to a dealer? This is one of the most simple jobs...you can do it yourself and save a lot of money.

Just go to this site and select the closest match to your bike, DynoJet, download the pdf file and follow the recommendations. Paying to do the rejetting is a waste of money with the amount of info available on the web, and experience on this site. The jets are $2-3 a piece.
