Wifes new bike

I hear ya redDog!.. I think she will eventually want to move to a Dyna, but since she is only 5' 0", I think anything bigger will take some fanangling to get her on comfortably! LOL

My wife did the same thing and moved up to a Dyna Superglide Custom after a year. She is a bit over 5' also so we had to install a Mustang solo to get her lowered a bit. She loved her sporty but is more comfortable on the dyna she says.
BTW, that smile on your ladies face is there to stay now! Nothing like looking over to the left and seeing your favorite girl enjoying her Harley!

Ok, how did you guys get the ladies to do it? I've offered to get a bike for my wife, sign her up for lessons, but she would rather ride with me than have her own. Did it take any persuasion?

My wife has been around Harleys since we met 16 years ago. Just the last year or so started getting the itch to own her own. Kind of grew on her I guess. For trips though she wants to ride on the Road King with me and leave the Sporty at home. At least for now...

Nice bike she has there,,, really.
My wife has shown some interest in riding, I sat her on an 883 when I was at the dealer picking up my 4pt docking station and passenger back rest. If I had known she was that interested, I could have saved 400.00 and not got the backrest! LOL
I need to see her go through the riders course, and I'll get her a little Honda 250 Rebel first I think. She won't do any highway riding to begin with, just around town I am sure, (Where it's most dangerous, I know)
I'll worry about her if it happens,, because I see way to many idiots in this town,,, (KIDS driving carelessly)

Today cell phone conversations dont seem to be as big a worry for me as opposed to kids texting while driving!!
