Default HELP! Steering issue

I need help! I put on new Renegade wheels and rotors on the front of my RK. I changed the rest of the bike over to a SG also. Now my bike does not want to steer when I apply front brakes. If I am slowing in a straight line, I can feel the handlebars tighten and become very hard to move. If I am using front brake in a curve the bike wants to stand up straight and not steer. I measured the width between the rotors on the new set up and the old and they are the same. I am using the same axle as before. I also changed out brake pads trying to fix the problem. HELP!

I don't know if this helps or not but on my buddy's 99 Ultra, his wanted to stand up when he put the front brakes on too. He had just bought it from a dealer and had a chrome front end put on. He decided to pull the wheel and found that the axle nut was loose as well as the bearings and races were pitted. I'm sure the loose axle nut didn't help the bearings. He put in new bearings, races and brakes and torqued the axle nut to specs and his was good after that.

Good Luck

Thanks for the reply Krazy. I have had the wheel on and off many times, but never looked at the bearings because the wheels were new. I will check that tonight.
