Glad to hear that, I asked about them on this sight some time back and caught a ration of crap for looking at them by some of our expert internet surfers here.
So once again I may look into one, thanks for the input.
All I can say is what I see, and that is s significant drop in temp. Tons better than the other 2 oil coolers on the market, but then again it is twice the size of the moco one, but twice the price, but that's ok as long as it is purported to be as it is said to be, and thus far, it is, and that is all I will say about it, no more and no less.
Have you tested the other 2 on this bike. If not you statement is invalid. Oil bud is VERY expensive.
I did not test the other 2. I did not want to waste my time and $. I did a lot of looking and a lot of talking to folks that run different oil coolers.
However my friend has an 09 an Ultra and he has an HD Premium Cooler on it and he still runs 300, and as far as being valid or invalid, you use what you want to. I could care less. I'm just telling you what my experience is...
Remember; You get what you pay for...and that certainly applies in this case.
confused, go to their sight and look at it, I don't run one but bottoming shouldn't be an issue, in his demo he beats it with a hammer and shoots it with a shot gun and it still does not leak, not owning one I can't say if it cools better or worse than others but durability certainly is not and issue
I called Mr. Clark up awhile back and he sent me one for my 2008 FLHTCU and it Works Great. I felt the H-D cooler was not doing enough for me with my new bike so I remove it and installed the oil bud which was not a bad install. Before the 08 I had a 1999 Standard and I installed an H-D cooler on it and worked fine. But these new bikes get a lot hotter.
