Just traded in my 2006 FXST and picked up a 2010 FLHR. I was never a big fan of touring bikes until recently. My softail was slammed and raked with drag bars and 2" forwards. Really cool to look at but I was exhausted after an hour or two of riding. After an hour on the Road King I kept repeating to myself "if I had known it could be like this I would have bought one of these 15 years ago" What a bike.
I have a couple of concerns though. There seems to be no top end torque. Hopefully this will be remedied with new pipes/air cleaner/fuel pac. I also would love a radio. If anyone has been successful putting a sound system on a road king, let me know how you did it.
