I forgot my gas cap on top of pump on the very FIRST fill-up, that was a $34 CAN lesson[:@]

 

Duh well you did it to. I had to get me one a couple of months ago cause I did the same thing. I went to the HD shop here in town an got me one could of ordered me one and got it cheaper but it was only around 20. I put mine on the handlebar between the clutch cable now when I fill up so I don't **** up again. Bought me one of them push buttons to replace the lock cause I get tired up having to pull the key out of my pocket every time I get gas.

 

I put the gas cap between the handlebar and the clutch cable while I'm getting gas.

 

I always shove my gas cap in my back pocket when filling up, hard to forget its there.

 

Yep, mine always goes right on the seat upside down. That way if I forget to put it on, when I sit I get a not so pleasant surprise.

 

go back to the gas station and see if they have the cap. i rode off once after filling up without the cap. i didn't notice until the next day. went back to the station and asked about the gas cap. the gal pulled out a cardboard box full of them. my cap was right on top.

 

I do the exact same thing. Upside down on the seat.
