H-D's supplier uses the same seat pan. It is only the shape of the foam and the style of the cover that is different. That is why the seat from a Street Glide will fit a Road Glide, Ultra, etc. The FLH frame is still the same and that, is what the seat mounts to !

To the OP, it is probably from a 2004-2007 FLTR The pre 2003 did not have the center strip.

+1 on that. Same thing here. I loved it, but the OL wanted more padding. I have a reworked 1998 seat that is good as new for sale. Check the EVO Era Parts for Sale forum.

So the # IS for the pan, not the seat?

Correct. Because the supplier uses the same seat pan for different models, there is originally a sticker on the bottom with the part number. With time and age, the adhesive deteriorates and the sticker falls off.

hi kevdog...the seat was stock on some 07 road glides...are you looking to sell it? ive been looking for one in good condition..give a shout..denniemac@verizon.net...thanks..
