installed the monotube last winter before proggressive stated that they would lower the front too..about 0.75inches..now bike looked a little off.used the blocks on the rear for awhile but they sort of suck. This sunday put on the 940's,so far so good.there set to 1/4 tight sag or soft..ect. did bottom out a little but its much different then the blocks hitting the fender, its the shocks bottoming out themselves.in a bit i will try the 1/2 way setting? It all seems to have worked out without takeing front appart again, improving rear shocks and diggin the lower look. kick stand is fine the way it is aswell.

I sent my original shocks to Phoenix customs and they did a fantastic job of lowering my original shocks. I had a friend use them also and he had just as much good luck with his. I also purchased a bagger brace too. O think their website is bitchinbaggers.com. Good luck
I tried the 940 Ultra progressive about a month and like them and I am having a set of the 2011 sgcvo rear shocks delivered today. So by the end of the weekend I should be able to make someone a real good deal on some lowering rear shocks
I went with the progressive 440 HD 12" shocks in the rear. I wouldn't go Heavy Duty again, they are to stiff, but the height is nice. I also put the progressive front end lowering kit on. I like the height of my ride, again wish I would have gone with the standard 12in shock instead of the HD.
I talked with Sherry at Danny Gray about a big seat. She said it will lower me about two inches and push me back about 1in. That's next for me.

Reason: spelling
I went with the Progressive 440 Heavy Duty 11.5 shocks - no way I will go back. The bike rides awesome, feels much better and I love the look. Plus, its easy to install them - all of about 15 minutes.
I have to lower mine as well and there's a lot idea's out there, I have the reach seat and must say it didn't seem to lower me at all, maybe because I allways cheated and moved myself forward near the tank on the stock seat ..And I'm only 5.6 ..
