Default What is this fuse for?

There is a 3 amp fuse on my Ultra the connects to the positive side of the battery and runs with another lead off the neg side. It is by itself and in a rubber enclosed casing. I have been going through my shop manual but can't find out what it is for.

thanks.

Sounds like some type of add on. My first thought was battery tender connection, but a 3 amp fuse is too small for that.

3 amp fuse could be a battery tender, but I think most are 5 Amp. Follow the wires and see where they end up.

Probably the harness for heated gloves; HD's use a 3 amp fuse.

That sounds like it could be it (battery tender).

Thanks,
