Default Volume never changes

When I first got the bike the radio volume changed as the speed did, now that has stopped working and the volume needs to be manually changed as I speed up and slow down. The only mod to the stereo is I changed the front speakers to hog tunes.

How do I get the volume to be in sync with the speed?

hit the thumb button that switches your bass, treble etc there is one screen that says AVC; bump that up a few notches to your liking.

Is that a feature of the stock Harmon system?

On the stock HK radio: Left button, push it in, toggle to AVC (auto volume control) and it has an off, 1 bar, 2 bars, 3 bars and 4 bars. I use the 2 bars myself. The more bars you use the more the volume will change.
