Well, I'm pretty sure it's a new question anyway. The setup I'm running now is this: 2010 FLHX with stock headpipe and V&H Twin Slash slip on(part #16777). I'm trying to eliminate the cat in the headpipe, and would like to go to duals.
I'm leaning towards V&H dresser duals, but have yet to decide on the mufflers. I like the look of my slipon, and have been thinking about ordering another and running Dreser Duals with two of these mufflers. I think the look of these two pretty big mufflers in back would be real cool.
Any thoughts on this? Has anyone done this? Would it all line up and fit correctly? Any thoughts on sound and performance considering the mufflers were designed for a 2 into 1 application?
Thanks in advance for any input.
There is another thread on this first page posted by Bigdaddymike with his new Rinehart 4" slip ons with soundclips. Check it out. You can also go to youtube and type in the search bar for various types your thinking about and maybe find some clips. There are alot of choices out there. Personally I'm running Rush mufflerrs with 2-1/4" baffles & I just installed the Rush true dual headpipes last weekend. The switch to the true dual headpipes increased the sound considerably.

Your single muffler that was designed for the stock 2/1 head pipe will not work with duals as the single muffler is approx 7 inches longer than than conventional dual mufflers.
Thanks Jamie, that is exactly what I was hoping to find out. Does anyone have any thoughts on wild pigs, I want loud, but i have heard that they are obnoxious.
