Warranty on Chrome

Warranty on Chrome
I was washing my scooter yesterday and noticed that the detachable plates for the tour pak, that mounts on my fender struts, are rusting. I ordered the detach kit and TP when I bought the bike. Would the chrome finish fall under the 2 yr. warranty?

If the kit was installed prior to delivery by the dealer or bought within 60 days of bike purchase and installed by dealer then it would be added to the 2 year warranty. PM me your VIN and I can check to see if the dealer added the parts to your SWR warranty.

Chrome Warranty
The chrome warranty pertains to one item one time. I had my chrome Fat Boy rim start to peel. The dealer replaced it but told me I would use up my replacement free card so to speak. The wheel as well as some other items were installed at delivery so there was no issue replacing them but I am now done if something else starts to peel.
