I need to get my hands closer and in more relaxed position when riding. I would possibly also like to internally wire and this will be a do-it-yourself project. I would also like nto be able to use the stock mirrors. Any suggestions?
I like my 13' cyclesmiths but their not narrow, do like I did go to a local bike night if possible I'm sure people will let you look or sit on their bike(well most will). Best way I know of at seeing a lot of different bars and deciding what is right for you. Oh yeah, bout pulled my hair out internalling wiring my bars(tbw harness is always in the way) also, I would definatley give shawn at drvtwin a call, I promise he will do everything he can to help you, not to mention great prices and customer services. I've bought everything I got from them and no I'm not affiliated with them I live about as far as I can be from them without being in a different country.
are he 575s realy 2.5" taller..they dont look like it..... if they are I'm guessing the mirrors are not useable.
I'm thinking of changing the bars on my 2010 SG...although i'm only 5'7" i feel like i would like my hands higher up.. NOT baove the fairing but just below the top edge.. I'm thinking that about a +3 or +4 on the height. Can't be too far out of reach though..remember Im short
