I've had a vibration for about a month now. At times I thought I had imagined the whole thing and other times I was sure there was a vibration that didn't used to be there.

Well, today there was no doubt about it. Any time the engine got close to 2K, I couldn't even see anything in my mirrors.

I read all the threads about the fairing brackets so I had myself convinced it was a broken bracket. Tore the fairing off and the brackets were fine (37K on an 08, thought they were supposed to break by now).

There's also a strange kind of chirping sound coming from the primary area. I just switched to ATF in the primary so I think "Crap, the stuff ruined my bearings".

Before I tear into my primary, I'm looking for something to drain the primary with. I look to see how high it can be and while I'm looking at the bottom of the primary I see a wedge shaped rock lodged between the primary and the frame.

Removed the rock and 'Wella' the problem was solved. Here I'm thinking about how much this is gonna cost and how long it'll be before I'll be able to ride it again and all it took was removing a rock.
