I've been riding with this seat for over two years. It has great back support. You can add a driver back rest if you want. I have no dislikes.
Thanks for the pic, looks good. I ended up with a Sundowner for the time being due to availability (my dealer had it). If it doesn't work out I'll try the Mustang.
I have the mustang sport touring seat with black rivets model #75487 and the adjustable drivers backrest #79068 for sale. Perfect condition. PM me if interestd
After talking to Mustang, I decided to go with the wide tripper. Much better seat than the stock. All though it is not a touring seat, so far it seems comfortable enough and no pains after a couple hours. The stock one was hurting after about 40 mins. The riding position is pretty close to stock. The seat does not lower you or move you back. Nor did it move me forward. And it provides surprising good back support even without the backrest. I'm guessing it is the shape of the bucket that helps. Here are some pics.
I'm interested in replacing the **** stock seat on my '02 FLHTCI with the Mustang Sport Touring seat #75454. As shootfirst has asked, does this seat lower and move you back at all?
I don't like the gap under the rear fender but I don't notice it anymore. Great seat IMO.

Sport Touring - virtually all the comfort yet preserving a sporty look IMO. Edit - those pics look like the Sport Touring?

Yes, on purpose. There is a whole science here. Too cushy and where the foam is compressed all the way creates a pressure point. Difficult to know this just pushing on it by hand.
You want some compression, but also enough "give" remaining for shock/vibration/bump absorption.
My wife loves it compared to the stock seat.
