How many of you purchased Street Glides and found that a battery tender pig tail was already installed on the bike? I orderd a pig tail to put on my new bike (2010 Street Glide) and when it came in the mail, I went about installing it. It was then that I noticed it already had a pigtail on the bike. The Battery Tender end was hidden up by the transmission and I never noticed it!

 

I might be wrong but I believe all new Harleys come with it My 05 Dyna Superglide Custom had one on it already. My .02

 

My dealership installs them on all new bikes they recieve.

 

Miy dealer installs it on new and (I think) used ones they take on trade.

 

The last two dealers I dealt with installed them on all bikes.

 

My 2010 street glide had one too.

 

My 08 already had one installed.

 

My 06sg came with one also

 

where exactly is it located? And it looks like what? Any pictures?

I think most are installed at the dealership. I have seen the inconvience of a dead battery before a test ride first hand. It can make the difference of a sale.
