Bushing-less cam plate
•Bushing-less rods (running change)
•New induction module / throttle body
•Retainers added for right main bearing
•New breather assembly in the head (running change)
•New bearing in clutch hub
•New compensator for all Touring models

Looks like they will now hone the rod ends instead of machining the hole.. To me thats better tolerances?

No bushing in cam plate?? hmmm...

Just curoius as to what this really means.. Better cost for HD or better quality for us or ???
Where did you find the info on the new clutch hub bearing? I've searched and searched the HD site and can't find anything.

Not sure if we are talking about the same thing, but MY '11 RGU does not have the start bang I would always hear. I presumed it's because of the SE compensator... I was so used to the loud bang at start, when I first got the '11 it took me a couple days to get used to starting it.

Thanks, I found it. It says the new clutch hub bearing "retro-fits back as an assembly", which apparently means replacing the entire clutch hub. What it doesn't say is WHY they made the change.
