So very sorry for this tragic, unnecessary death. I'm sure he was a great man, one whom I'd love to sit down with and have a beer... I would love to have heard him tell his life story, his up's and his down's, learn about his favorite hobbies, his history.

COLUMBUS -- The driver of a car that collided Saturday afternoon with a Licking County motorcyclist on the Far East Side ran a red light, a Columbus police report says.
Jarred Blumenshed, 21, of Granville, was westbound on E. Main Street when his car ran the light at McNaughten Road, the report says.
Robert Trivett, 53, of Pataskala, was southbound on McNaughten. The report said Trivett was going 5 mph when he was struck by Blumenshed's car, traveling about 35 mph.

Sincerest condolences to his family and all who will miss him. I've lost two brothers of the road to accidents in the last couple years. Both experienced long time riders. I believe that when HE decides to take you, it makes little difference where you are and that your friend is in a better place.
