Wheel Weights - Front/Rear/Both?

I have wheel weights on both sides of my front rim. But I don't see any on my rear rim. Is this normal?

A. The air in your rear tire probably has a higher moisture content, making it weigh more so that you don't need the extra weight.

B. Tires are balanced as a set, not individually.

C. The extra weight on the front give you better steering control.

D. Each wheel is balanced seperately, and sometimes no extra weight is needed to achieve a balanced state.

The answer is....D! ding ding ding ding ding

weasel has the right answer although this is rare it is possible.

Dunlops are pre balanced at factory, then marked with a paint dot where HD should mount with it at the valve stem, sometimes these are so close no or little amount of weight is needed to complete the final balance.
