Tour Pak Backrest
I have seen this discussed before but wondered if anyone had any new options. I'd like to replace the "winged" backrest on the tour pak with either a chopped tour pak pad or an aftermarket. I don't ride with a passenger and want something with cleaner lines.
Any suggestions? And how much of a problem is drilling the new mounting holes for the chopped pad?

Sorry I don't have any pics,but I put the chopped tour pak back rest on my 09,like you,I prefer the cleaner ,less bulky look.None of the holes matched up,so I covered the surface of the pak with masking tape,and put ink on the backrest bolts,and pressed the backrest on to the tour pac,positioned it and repositioned it many times.Closed my eyes and drilled very carefully.
