09 e-glide wallowing in sweepers
While visiting my brother in LasVegas I brought it to Red Rock HD for an oil change, went out for lunch when I went back they told me it was all set and they changed the front tire to the 408 under warranty and washed the bike. Next day, riding north through Utah on a long sweeper, the bike does it's wallowing thing again, I thought maybe the weight isn't distributed evenly so I emptied the the bags and tour-pack and tried it again at the same speed but no change, wallowed again.
Reading this forum I see there are other Bat Wing bikes that have done the same thing, I do not remember reading anything about Road Glides wallowing in sweepers if this is true I think I only have two options change it over to a Road Glide fairing being the cheapest option or buy a different bike.
Would appreciate some comments, sorry for a long post Thanks
! No seriously the fork oil change is good advice, also make sure your air is set correctly on the rears. I push my Glide hard through the twistys and noticed lately that I've been getting a bit of a wobble especially if the road is a bit bumpy, checked the air in my shocks and I had forgotten that I had 26psi (psgr and luggage) dropped it down to 14 and it smoothed it out, keep in mind though my shocks are an inch shorter so my advice may be moot.
