Isn't this referred to as a low-rider in the 'hood?

i drag the floor boards already on the stock height of the street glide.... why would you want it lower? Going in a straight line isn't much fun, its nice to lean a little bit...
I'm with Chubby on this one.....

I wonder if they come with a set of fuzzy dice & curb feelers...???...[sm=insomnia.gif]

Quick question----if you lower it that much (4") while it's parked, isn't that going to throw the angle of the sidestand off??

It will raise the angle, but apparently it is not a factor in stability. Just keep the steering cranked to the left when parked & slammed on a level surface.

Everyone's got their own reasons for wanting these. I will get some [providing feedback is good] because I want to raise my bike while riding, then lower it when I need to manuever in parking lots or whatever. I like to ride hard, but I've got a fairly short inseam. I really like my 1" lowering kit equipped bike, but if I can get these shocks and raise the bike up when carving corners for more ground clearance, that would be sweet. Also to give me 'on the fly' adjustment if the wife and I should bottom out at all underway on tour. That has happened before...Riding down the interstate and get into some rolling, heaving pavement that gets you floating up and slamming down and bottoming when you were riding comfortably at the same pressure moments before. Who wants to stop, get off and adjust air pressure for a section of road that may end in another mile. With these shocks you could pump up and deflate again as soon as the bad section of road is cleared....So this is more of a touring option I want than a look I'm trying to achieve. I already have a lowered rear end after all; if it were all about looks.

With the 4" of travel & better handling that the system allows, you can have it all....if it works as claimed. Instantly able to dial in the rear for all conditions and surfaces...loaded touring, solo, aggressive and posin'...all with the touch of a button, on the fly. At the price we got, it's almost a no brainer for ANY bagger!

I agree with SeaHag. The convience of being able to adjust the air on the fly would be nice. Don't really care about being able to slam it. Could be cool at the rallies/bars but having to stop, remove the hard bags, pump it up, try it, repeat really sucks. I will be interested to hear from you all about how well the work. I am always leary about the "testimonials" given for advertising purposes.
