Wind on a batwing
I currently have a 2001 Heritage Classic, and I am considering a street glide or ultra classic because I get more cold air than I prefer in the colder months.
Do the batwing and lower fairings on the ultra classic make a substantial difference with blocking wind when compared to the standard windshield (and no lowers) on the Heritage classic / Road King?

i have a memphis shades batwing fairing on my roadking. it uses the same quick detach fittings as the windshield. i bet you could find something like that for cold weather riding...was about $350 from bikerhaven.net there is also a lower triple tree deflector and wind deflectors for the forks. not expensive and easy off and on. combined, they work well for me.
