This was my third time going to the Rally and I was really disappointed...this was the worst one yet...basically the same cheap *** vendors selling the same cheap *** crap at every location, the bands were mediocre at best, food selection sucked...The merchandise at the museum was priced $10-15 dollars higher than it was at the dealers..wtf..The rally used to be a great time and party...about like everything else with MoCo in the last few years, this rally has gone to **** also!....wish I would have gone to Savanna instead!
I agree that the rally sucked. It was better when it was at one place. I bet if they kept it at one location there would be bigger/better vendors. I was suprised to see PM there. They were offereing a good deal if you bought wheels. ( front rotors and tired free)
And you are right, same vendors at all locations. Some of the food vendors were ok. I was suprised to see some vendors at a biker rally. (wine and oil painting) I spent more time just looking at the bikes. The music wasn't that great. It was better when everything was at State Fair Park.
Man i need to get out more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That Road Glide with the flames is SWEEEEEEET!!!!
Thanks for the pics!!!!
........o~`o......................
Just home from the rally, 1st time there, probaly last time. After Sturgis 3 weeks ago, I was kind of expecting something a little more that what they had going on. Best part of the weekend was the poker hands my wife and I pulled, a flush and a 10-ace straight. Hoping we win something!! I checked out the yellow bike pictured above, the front fender is maybe 1.5 inches from the bottom of the faring, either he has 1000lb springs up front or he avoid pebbles in the road. Great looking with some cool custom parts but...
The DDCustoms orange and black Road Glide (HDGT-1) got my vote. It was a bad *** bike, even with a 23 or 24 inch front.
